The girl who is lolling lasciviously in the leaves despite the burning forest was born in the week-long Mokuhanga wood printing course with Paul Furneaux from Edinburgh.
To experience this printing technique was very interesting. The motif alludes to the irrational juxtaposition of secular catastrophe (see burning Amazon region) and indifference in existing luxury.
